Joseph Wood Canzeri was born in Schuylerville, New York on May 16, 1930, to parents who immigrated to the United States from Sicily. He grew up in Saratoga, New York. Sandra Day O’Connor was born in El Paso, Texas, March 26, 1930. She married John Jay O’Connor III in 1952 and has three sons - Scott, Brian, and Jay.
